Iris- The Apple's Siri's alternative from Android

And the wait is over Android market place have launched Iris the alternative for Apple's Siri app. Yes, u guessed it right if you read Siri from backwards you will get Iris. This app is very interesting if you want to talk to this this will talk to you. See that in the Youtube video at the bottom of this post. This app supports Android v2.1 and up. It's just a 452KB sized app which you can find in the Productivity section of the Android market place and its absolutely free.

This app is developed by a Android developing group Dexetra in just 8 hours ! unfortunately, Iris’ speedy construction means there are still some rough patches. It’s worth remembering that this app was developed with a system that took 8hrs to put together and is released as an early alpha in the Android Market. The takeaway message is that Apple can’t afford to stand still: if a small team of developers can create something like Iris in less than a day, the combined mass of Google’s developers is capable of much, much more. Ice Cream Sandwich is just the start of it.
